The World Health Organization seeks to fill 3 positions (1global and 2 regional) on gender-based violence (GBV) in emergencies, in order to strengthen its institutional capacity to address GBV in the health cluster and in WHO’s emergency work .The objective is to enhance the capacity of the health sector and health care providers to deliver essential services to survivors of GBV and prevent such violence, embed violence prevention and response into the work of health cluster and improve coordination and heighten accountability at global and country levels.
